TrendingBoard: subscription product-trend research for ecommerce founders

Exploding Topics proved people pay for trend data. TrendingBoard takes a sharper angle for product sellers: rank by momentum, not volume — and flag when a trend is already saturated.

TL;DR

A subscription research tool that aggregates real trend data from public sources into a ranked, filterable board of emerging products — with a derived saturation score that tells sellers not just what's growing, but whether they're already too late.

The customer problem

Ecommerce founders and dropshippers live or die by product selection. The existing tools either show raw search volume (which rewards trends that already peaked) or cost more than a small seller will pay. The question they actually have is: "what's growing fast that isn't crowded yet?"

Go-to-market thinking

The wedge audience is ecommerce founders already trained to pay for tools (Shopify apps, spy tools, keyword tools). The pitch is a direct comparison — "Exploding Topics for product sellers, at a price a solo store can justify" — which positions against a known category leader instead of explaining from zero.
